Gorgeous Edwardian era white cotton Broderie Anglaise eyelet slip dress. Circa 1910's.
Square front and back neckline and 5/8" wide flat shoulder straps.
Beautiful front cutwork motif as pictured. The front neckline is also accented with cutwork.
8" long back opening does up with 3 buttons as pictured.
Slightly dropped waist curves lower in front as pictured.
The skirt features inverted side pleats, and front and back vertical darts.
The bottom half of the skirt is a panel of white cotton scalloped Broderie Anglaise eyelet as pictured.
Unlined. No pockets.
I'm 5'4" and this comes to the middle of my calf. it may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height.
DESIGNER LABEL: No labels - I believe this is handmade by a skilled seamstress. There is a name embroidered in pink thread on the interior back neckline.
CONDITION: Excellent. There are no odors, discoloration, fading, stains, rips, tears, holes, snags, or other issues.
SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Large.
