Light and airy batiste cotton Edwardian white lawn blouse.

This came from an estate where the owner prized the Edwardian pieces of her grandmother. Albeit, just the top of the dress but it is dreamy nonetheless.

Iconic Edwardian details - loads of pin tucking, open work, embroidery, bands of lace. Back closure with hook and eye all the way down. Snap at the back of the high neck.

Long leg-o-mutton sleeves. Fuller at the top and very slim at the forearm.

Drawstring waist ties in back.

Very Good condition - as stated previously, this is the top of a dress. Cut off and finished to be worn as a blouse. Washed and pressed.

Measures:
No stretch.

Small - these tops were designed to be airy and billowy.

Waist is a drawstring and the dress form has a 26 inch waist. Any larger and the drawstring itself would be too short. Simple fix by adding a longer string / ribbon.

SLEEVES - 10 inches at the elbow - 7 inches at the wrist.

Length - 20 long in front - 16 in back.
