Unisex off-white, cotton suiting.

Good condition, size L (10 - 12) and M (6 - 8).

This amazing antique summer waistcoat is constructed of a creamy cotton which has a slight brocade-like pattern and works well with so many outfits. Dress it up for a more traditional look or layer it for a fun fresh boho look! There are four pockets (yes four!!) and antique shell buttons with metal backs. The waist can be cinched in the back. My favorite part of this piece though, is the incredible hand-stitching for the button holes. Best fits sizes small to large.

Measurements laying flat, buttoned, and not cinched in back:

Bust: 18 inches

Waist: 19 inches

Length: 21 inches in front; 18 inches in back

Good antique condition - There are some very small rust spots from the buttons on the interior lining - not noticeable on the outside. and one small pin needle rust spot on back of vest. The loop closure to cinch the waist is missing. It can be tied or a loop could be added.

Based upon the style, hand-stitching for the button holes, the buttons, and the fabric, I believe this to be Edwardian- Therefore an antique.
