Antique Roseville Donatello Vase Cherub American Art Pottery
Roseville pottery is not always marked. In fact, pieces made between 1927 and 1935 were often marked with a triangular black paper or foil label.
In many cases, this label has disappeared, leaving the Roseville piece unmarked.
Some collectors believe Roseville also made pieces without a mark or even a paper label.
This is a Roseville Pottery Donatello 6.5” Vase.
Green vertical lines on an Ivory body, with a Brown Cherub and Tree Band.
Base is unmarked.
Dan Rhead created the popular Donatello line in 1915.
Some crazing in the finish .
