As with most silk dresses of this era I can’t recommend this for wear. It’s is a collector’s piece only. If you are fitting it on a mannequin it has about a 40” bust 21” waist and full hips. Length from top of shoulder to waist is 15” and total length is 50”.

Very beautiful and unusual design with silk organdy bodice that is pleated and decorated with purple cross-stitched design. The skirt is gathered at the waist and it has an insert strip of the embroidered organdy. Dress fastens up the back with a combination of metal hooks and eyes and metal snaps. Fabric is silk, unlined. No label. Structurally sound with some splits in skirt and yellowing on shoulders. Fabric is fragile but not shattering. Ribbons have some splits and fraying as well. True colors are cream and deep pink, cross-stitching is purple.

**A note on measurements: I like to give measurements on items rather than a numerical size as I find this to be a much more precise way of determining size. If the garment I have measures the same as a garment you have, you can be assured of a good fit. If you have any questions about how I did the measuring just email! PS don't forget YOU must measure at least 1-2 inches smaller than the garment does for comfort! :)
