Gorgeous black cotton velvet beaded bag from about the 1910s. Beaded in a flower motif on the top. Hinged lid opens to reveal a mirror. Inside is just the one compartment and you can tell it used to be lined but is no longer. There is a matching velvet a wrist strap and a tassel below.

Approx 8" wide at its widest and 10" tall not including strap or tassel.

Excellent Vintage condition. For its age. There are missing beads but only on the blue along the border of the top. The flower itself seems intact to me, There is mild wear to the velvet nap and of course that missing lining. The mirror is silvered but I don't consider that a flaw, I consider that the charm of age. The only real issue is it seems as though the tassel below has bee pulled at some point and is now off center. It looks like someone stitched it to keep it rom pulling any more. One could probably clean that up a bit better and get it back to center.
