Beautiful black lace-up boots with Louis heels circa the late 1910s to early 1920s. They are branded as the "Crossett Shoe - Makes Life's Walk Easy."
Very pretty with a narrow, pointed toe. These are so elegant!
Measurements
Sizing on boots is always approximate, take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 5. 5-6 US women's, but please check the following measurements. They are marked as a 37 (EU size, but they seem to run small and narrow).
9 3/4" inner sole length (keep in mind the very pointed toe)
2 3/4" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 8 1/4" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
2 3/4" heel
10 3/4" total height
Condition
Good antique condition with some minor wear commensurate with age. The leather is in great shape, soft and supple. There is some minor fading to one side of one of the boots and some light scuffing on the soles. A couple of little spots on the leather, but they present beautifully.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
