This sage-y green color is evocative of seaweed and other ocean life. It's the perfect warm-weather dress for casual or slightly dressier occasions. The body of dress is made up of this lightweight (most likely rayon or acrylic) pointelle knit fabric with leaf-like pattern. The waist line utilizes the fabric in an alternate direction, for extra stretch and design purposes, and has a mitered bust line. This must line, deep v-neckline and hem, are finished with a scallop edging. Across the center waist line are vivid blue abalone or mother of pearl style shell decorations in circular and square shapes. The bust area is lined with a lightweight, grey jersey knit fabric. No labels or maker's marks to note.
