Trash & Vaudville
80s/90s Red Striped Flannel 80s Does 50s Roots Revival$42.00
Trash and Vaudeville has been around since 1975- I have no idea when this shirt was made but it’s not on their website now. I’m just going to guess it’s 90s early 2000s by the style? But really, I don’t know, could be older! The flannel is heavy and soft, like woolrich cotton flannels so better quality than rock fashion of that era for sure. Very Clash, very Tav Falco- very 50s rock roots revival style. Flat bottom so it’s to be untucked but that’s OK, that’s a great way to show off your belt buckle 😍
It was very very wrinkly when I got it and the wrinkles popped out super easy with 30 seconds on my steamer- but if you were to take it to the cleaners and have a real fluff and fold treatment where they steam the whole thing on a form, it’d look like new and would make a great gift for the Lonely Teardrop in your life.
