A small delicate fillgree 800s silver and gold gilt finely detailed butterfly pin from the 1950s.

Amazingly realistic.

This pretty butterfly brooch is three dimensional and very realistic with fine workmanship.

It is 800 silver with a coating of gilt at areas.

His body is extremely fine wrought as are the wings.

Most of these pins were made in Italy or Spain.

2" by 1".

A small safety clasp.

There is another makers mark on the back, but I cannot make it out.

In very good condition with patina to the back clasp bar. I did not polish this pretty pin.
