Fab 80s Jeanne Marc gold mini skirt and top set. Jeanne Marc was established in 1973 by wife and husband team, Jeanne Allen and Marc Grant. Located in San Francisco, their designs were cutting edge with strong silhouettes and were also very high end. The fabric here is a metallic gold crinkle textured polyester for both pieces. The top has a boat neck with dramatic puffed shoulder (no shoulder pads). Sleeve and shirt hem are rounded. Keyhole back with brass button closure. The short skirt has a 3" wide quilted V shaped waistband that buttons in back, where the waist is shirred with elastic. Pleated skirt has side seam pockets! Versatile, wear together or the top with high waist trousers and the skirt with a crop top! The texturing on the skirt has flattened out somewhat in back and the lower part of the front, see last photo. Not that noticeable, but I want to disclose all.
