A fab pair of vintage 1960s Springolator mules in not-so-basic black! The pleated toebox has the classic curving open toe and features a nice interplay between matte leather and shiny patent. The heel is a bit sturdier than the original Springolator stiletto making these a little more practical for prolonged wear.
SIZE: Labeled 6.5 M
Length, heel to toe, inside - 9.25" (23.5 cm)
Widest part of outer sole- 2.9" (7.25 cm)
Heel height - 3" (7.5 cm)
MATERIALS/COLORS: The uppers are done in matte black leather with a pleated patent leather accent on the toebox. Insoles are black for the heel and tip of the toe with a silver list for the Springolator part.Outer soles are dark tan, look like leather.
MAKER: Ferncraft Exclusives
CONDITION: Some areas of the patent are not quite as mirrorlike as they were when the mules were new, but that's the only issue I can see. No scuffs, tears, etc. Soles are lightly worn. Of note - in the photos of the outer soles, you can see a line between the heels and soles - it's not a flaw, just a transition in surface materials.
