Vintage Rose Print Caftan, 1960s 1970s Nylon Housecoat, Open Size Kaftan with Neon Pink Roses
This vintage caftan is STUNNING. A massive tent silhouette gown with a front zipper closure, elbow length sleeves, and two pockets. Some brilliant person found a matching sash to pair with this. Its clearly not original to the gown, but the color match is flawless and it turns it into a whole new garment! This has strong Mrs Roper vibes, and is just a glorious piece to wear as loungewear or as a dress!
This was intended to be a housecoat or a robe, but this definitely deserves to be seen. I would absolutely wear this out as a dress, especially with that sash! This is a difficult one to let go.
The only tag in this reads "Doops". There are no fiber content or size tags. The fabric feels like a silky nylon jersey knit, its drapey and cool to the touch. The size seems pretty open, with the most restrictive measurement being across the shoulders.
There is a large section at the bottom to back that is lighter than the rest but there is so much color and fabric that it’s not obvious. You can see it more in photos 6 and 7, the bottom sections. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well. Model is a size small and is 5'11" tall.
