This exuberant colorful design makes me think of Carmen Miranda, the iconic 1940's era movie star who became so identified with her colorful fruit-hat costume and image. That actress is not shown on the vintage Ann Taylor 35 by 34 inch square silk scarf, however it does have all things tropical...straw hats, fruit, palm leaves and instruments used to play tropical music in all the old Hollywood movies.

Colors here include a vivid apple green to deep leafy green, shades of pink, red and orange that range from light to dark and a lovely mustard gold.

There are beautifully hand rolled and hemmed edges that remain very puffy.

The Ann Taylor tag is attached to one of the corners, as is the fabric content label that shows this fabulous scarf is all silk and was Made in Korea.

You can see in the photos how well this heavy silk drapes and folds. With the overall design, you will get a glimpse of different colors and shapes each time you fold it.

Freshly cleaned, it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home and is in Excellent Vintage condition.
