This beautiful cottage core style floral hails most likely from the 1970s or 1980s and is a blend of cotton and another fiber, probably polyester. The blend makes it flow and gives it beautiful drape.

At 1-3/4 yards, you'll have plenty to make a little top or skirt, or to use in a mix of fabrics for, say, a Gunne Sax dress.

Note that the colors seem brighter in some photos than in real life. The background is slightly off-white and the florals are in springlike tones, not 1980s in-your-face shades.

This is true vintage fabric. My home is nonsmoking and pet-loving (though pets are kept away from the fabric closet); I don't notice any odors or traces of pet on the fabric, but I can't completely speak to its history. I have not washed it.
