Celluloid Charm Necklace Jewelry Sterling Silver Plated Cracker Jack Gumball$60.00
Handmade by me using (mostly 1930s-1940s) celluloid charms. These charms originally came in Cracker Jack boxes as prizes, or as gumball machine toys. Celluloid is an early version of plastic, it’s lighter than plastic so the charms are really light.
The jewelry findings are sterling silver plated and the chain is stainless steel. This is a cute and funky way to incorporate into any outfit. This necklace has six charms. From left to right: a white and black penguin with yellow feet (approx. 1. 5 x 2 cm), a yellow horseshoe with a horsehead (approx. 1. 5 x 2 cm), a rooster (approx. 2 1. 5 cm), a black bunny with a yellow and red outfit (approx. 1 x 3 cm), a chick hatching (approx. 1. 5 x 2 cm), and an off white monkey (approx. 1 x 1. 5 cm). The chain is approx. 46 cm long. Note: the bunny is missing an arm but I think it adds to the character.
