Made in India, for the Papell Boutique Evening line of formal clothes, this vintage 1980's never worn Adrianna Papell beaded event-ready blouse is a fitted short sleeve top with shiny silver, gray and black beads on a solid black silk exterior fabric. As you can see, an original paper hang tag is still attached, plus an extra bag of beads in the event you ever need them.

Although this is marked as a size Large, please use these measurements to determine if it will fit you. Remember that sizing has changed quite a bit over the years, so it always important to compare these to your own measurements.

Shoulder to shoulder is 17 and 1/2 inches.
Armhole opening is 21 and 1/4 inches.
Sleeves are 8 inches.
Bust is 40 inches.
Waist is 34 and 1/2 inches.
Full length is 22 and 1/2 inches where a gentle curve dips slightly lower in front and back.
Hemline width is 39 and 1/2 inches.

An 18 inch long back zipper makes this easy to get on and off. There is also a top hook and eye at the back neckline.

Because this is from the 1980's there are internal shoulder pads. They are lightly attached in only two places, so it would be easy to remove them for a more natural shoulder line.
