I have hoarded this 70’s/80’s dress for over 20 years—love the print that much
Silky and flowy with deep sexy V-ruffles, puff balloon sleeves, and lightly padded shoulders. This dress is fastened with a series of small snaps in front that can be adjusted a bit if needed.
18” across pit to pit measured from back (very open front)
23” long sleeves with tie bracelet cuff for the balloon/bishop sleeve effect;
15” shoulder to shoulder;
16. 5” bodice from shoulder seam at ruffle neckline to waistband;
27” long skirt;
45” long from top of back center.
1950’s belt for display: wear with a thick belt like this or skinnier one for a varied look.
Label: Albert Capraro—American fashion designer: Graduated from Parsons School of Design; worked for Lilly Daché and Oscar de la Renta crafting the boutique collection, before starting his own business in 1974. He died in 2013.
