Wow. Vintage Lucite purses remain a source of endless fascination and collectivity these days, but were they ever unwieldy! One had to be so careful back then, but they most likely came in handy when a lady got angry enough to whack a guy who over-stepped boundries, causing some serious damage. This one by Gilli has survived the decades brilliantly. No cracking, crazing here. A few scratches on the bottom (shown), one or two faint ones around the sides. Inside is clean, and yes your cell phone will fit. It closes with the usual lever catch, which has a few scratches. NOTE: once it's closed, it's not easy to open. Very secure!
