Fab vintage 1970s trench coat with sleek lines and unique detailing, to make it incredibly wearable! Upper coat is fitted, with simple wide vee collar, skirt is slightly flared. Detailed with chevron piecing and lots of top stitching. Self fabric belt ties at the waist. The coat is unlined.

Samuel K Robert was a clothing designer and manufacturer who is best known for his high end leather and Ultra Suede garments, specializing in coats, jackets and suits, for both day and evening. During the 60s, 70s and 80s, his clientele included Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Joan Crawford and Dionne Warwick. Icon Andre Courreges designed for him in 1965; he also employed Chester Weinberg, Bill Smith and Peter Hatsi-Androu. Samuel Robert died in 2001 at the age of 93.

CLOSURES: Seven matching plastic buttons down the front.
