Pristine White cotton long sleeve, formal men's dress shirt. Classic and made in the USA.

Brooks Brothers was founded in Manhattan in 1818, and is considered to be the longest standing men's clothier in the US. The company was first sold in 1946, with Winthrop Brooks heading the company until it was purchased by Allied Stores in 1981. It is generally felt that Allied Stores did a decent job in maintaining the original standards of quality, until 1988 when Marks & Spencer purchased the company. Brooks Brothers was purchased in 2001 by Retail Brand Alliance.

The Brooks Brothers Makers label originally indicated the item was made by Brooks Brothers and not one of their fellow manufacturers. Later the 'Makers' label was an indication that the items were overseen by qualified Brooks Brothers quality personnel and tend to be a slightly higher quality & price point.
