1960s Japanese Tea Ceremony Reversible Brown Kimono

1960s Reversible handmade Japanese Chestnut brown kimono with metallic thread throughout features rainbow brushstroke pattern woven into fabric. Fabric is rayon/nylon and interior is silk. Kimono is fully reversible. Front tie closure. Finished by fine detailed hand loop stitching, this artesinal piece is a midcentury showstopper.

Free size (from XS-L). Kimono comes from the estate of a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony performer and was purchased in Japan in the late 1960s by her. Comes from original home.
