50’s Charcoal Gray Wool Swing Style Topper Coat$125.00
A fabulously styled 1950s true vintage grey wool swing topper coat with detailed tailoring. A Lucy era style.
A light weight wool in a lighter charcoal grey with a wide swing shape.
It has a notched collar, a wide A line shape, mother of pearl buttons and front slit pockets.
The back has the best design.
It has 3 long vertical pleates adding to the wide shape. The back is slightly pulled in with the belt. The center pleat is a released pleat. The faux belt has 2 mother of pearl buttons.
It has regular length sleeves and raglan shoulders.
The sleeves are set in the front, but the back has them offset for ease.
It is lined in rayon crepe fabric.
This may look like a maternity coat, but it is not. It is a loose swing style topper coat from the 1950s.
A large full swing style size.
It can fit many sizes due to the styling.
It is to fit loose.
Shoulder 16” across. Note these are smaller as in the era.
Bust across the front 23”
Waist across the front 25”
The bottom hem is 35” across the front.
It is 32” long.
My mannequin is a small and it works for her due to the styling and design.
In excellent condition with no issues. Extremely clean and it doesn't appear to have been worn by the original owner.
