70’s Blue Corduroy Jacket and Skirt Suit

Get ready to make a statement this fall! Groovy 1970's blue corduroy Sears jacket and skirt set.

Jacket features:

✦ Dramatic 70's lapels

✦ Gold colored front button closure

✦ Two front patch pockets with gold colored button detail

✦ Adjustable belt with gold colored buckle

✦ Lined with blue cotton/cotton blend fabric

Matching pencil style skirt has a back nylon zipper and button closure. Skirt is not lined.

Sears tag states "Perma-Prest Suit", and Machine Wash Warm/Tumble Dry. There is no tag indicating fabric, but it feels like a cotton or cotton blend corduroy. There is NO stretch to this fabric.

This set is in excellent vintage condition. I could find no major stains, tears, holes, or other issues.

The only things I found were very minor - one seam about 6" long on the lining of the jacket was repaired - hand sewn shut (see photo). The other minor thing to note is that it appears the skirt waist was taken in about an inch. It could be let back out, should you want to do that.

Measurements taken lying flat:

Bust: 36" to a snug 38" (measures 19" across on the outside)

Waist of skirt: 24" (could be let out to 25")

Hips: 34"

Jacket length: 29"

Skirt length: 21"
